Frequently Asked Questions

Which yoga class is best for complete beginners?

If it’s your first yoga class, we usually recommend Hatha Yoga or Yin Yoga. These classes focus on proper alignment, breathing, and building confidence before progressing to more dynamic styles like Vinyasa. If you’re unsure, we’ll gladly help you choose the right class.

Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?

You’re welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer, but we also provide mats at the studio for your convenience.

Do you offer private yoga sessions?

Yes. Private sessions are ideal if you’re recovering from an injury, prefer one-to-one guidance or want a programme tailored to your personal goals and schedule.

I'm not flexible at all. Can I still join yoga classes?

Absolutely. Flexibility is a result of practicing yoga—not a requirement to begin. Many of our students in Singapore start because they spend long hours at a desk, experience tight hips or shoulders, or simply want to move better. Our instructors offer modifications so you can practise safely at your own pace.

Is yoga better than going to the gym?

Yoga and the gym serve different purposes. The gym typically focuses on building strength and cardiovascular fitness, while yoga develops mobility, balance, flexibility, body awareness and mental wellbeing. Many people find they complement each other.
