Kids’ Yoga at Ayu Yoga offers a fun, engaging, and nurturing introduction to yoga for children aged 4-12. Each 1-hour class is conducted in small groups to provide individual attention and a safe environment. Kids will learn basic yoga poses that enhance flexibility, strength, and balance, alongside simple breathing exercises to aid relaxation and focus. The class begins with a Welcome Circle, includes gentle warm-ups, age-appropriate poses often integrated into stories or games, and ends with mindfulness activities and a short relaxation session. Children should bring comfortable clothing, a water bottle, and a yoga mat (mats are also available at the studio).
